After receiving a B.A. Honours in Fine Art from the National College of Art & Design in 2004, Holly spent 7 years practicing as a painter, with exhibitions and residencies in Dublin, London, Berlin & Singapore.

Hungry after years as a starving artist, she moved into illustration in 2011, where she discovered the exciting world of illustrated type.  She also returned to education, graduating from The Irish School of Animation in Ballyfermot in 2015.

In 2016, she introduced signpainting into her practice, and brought her work to a larger scale with murals and wall drawings.

She also teaches workshops in illustrated type.

Selected clients include: The National Gallery of Ireland Education Department, Tito, Facebook, Hubspot, Riverbank Arts Centre, and Designist.

Holly is represented by Us Folk illustration agency in Belfast.

She is also on the National Gallery of Ireland Education Practitioner Panel, is a proud member of Blind Elephant Illustration Collective, and one half of The Muralistas.
